I get some serious satisfaction seeing this baby in work. Recycling at its best. I love to be able to use what I already have in different ways. Jack Johnson said it best in his song, “Renew, Reuse, Recycle.”
Let me introduce you to the chipper. It attaches to our tractor and turns the extra branches we wouldn’t use in the fireplace and turns it into landscape bark. I worried as I sat in the tractor watching when lumber jake would throw in big pieces of branch thinking it would bog it down, but nope, the chipper could handle. It shreds fast so watch out you don’t get your fingers caught in a branch.
The end result is some cool looking bark to keep away the weeds and the dirt from splattering up onto the rock and siding and the best part is we get our yard cleaned up. Two birds. One stone.
I am ready to do more!
