My baby monkey turned two, and how can I ever think this adorable, ham of a girl would ever give me any terrible two troubles? Well she is starting off on the right track for her first days of being two…taking these picture for example, she would NOT put anything I wanted to put on her and she was bored within 5 minutes so it ended in tears and she is still crying hours later. I was only able to pulled off three shots.

I have given myself a break from the blogging world over the holidays. I had a birthday, christmas celebrations, my anniversary, a blissful 15 year anniversary, another birthday and a new years bash all in two weeks. And a house to finish, since the appraiser wouldn’t let our house close until it is completely finished (minus the basement). Picky, picky! We have a lot getting done but still have a list full of to do’s. I feel like I have been saying our house is almost done for 5 months now…oh wait it has been 5 months of me saying that, however it really is almost done!

Christmas has been good here in the trees. We have snow, blue skies and temps in the upper 30′s during the day. We can’t complain. My monkey’s get to go out amongst the trees and slide on their tubes to their little hearts content. They love it, and I love that they love it.

My monkey’s are getting too big too fast. This year has gone by too fast as well, too busy. It is time to have this year to not be so busy. I don’t like when it is too busy because then life just passes by and you miss important moments you can have with your kiddos. My resolution this year is reduce my stress and having my house mostly done will help with that. One thing I have enjoyed with my life in the trees is the blue skies in winter. The inversion in cache valley was depressing. I look out my window and can get my vitamin D for the day. My daughter said one day that when she looks up it looks like summer, blue skies no snow on the trees but once she looks down and it is winter. Well looking up makes at blue skies makes up for those days when we have to look down at the snow for months and months.
