a good mistake

contemporary design

This contemporary picture came about by accident really. When I put paint on the canvas I am working on I usually splat it on and spread it around. The day I was working on this I already had two layers of paint on and was at a loss as to what to do. I guess you can call it artist block. I got out the white paint to start over, splatter the paint in the design you see here and thought, huh, that looks kinda cool.
If you wait a bit the edge of the design will dry a bit and will leave outline. So after a second I went to wipe the paint off and this is what you see here, just a good mistake and one of hubby favorites.
